Brad Pinchuk owns Hirschbach Motor Lines, one of the largest refrigerated trucking companies in the U.S. A Chicago native, he studied business at Gustavus Adolphus College before serving as an Army Engineer officer, gaining logistics experience that shaped his trucking career.
Starting in customer service, Brad worked his way up, eventually leading Hirschbach’s expansion through strategic growth and acquisitions, including John Christner Trucking. Under his leadership, the company surpassed $1 billion in revenue.
A proud veteran, Brad helped Hirschbach earn Certified Veteran’s Business Enterprise™ status in 2023. He and his wife, Jillayne, an artist and philanthropist, have been married for over 30 years, raising three daughters while building a company driven by its All In to Win! culture
Visionary Leader in Trucking
Richard Stocking, CEO and President of Hirschbach Motor Lines, is a transformative leader in the trucking industry. Before joining Hirschbach, he spent 27 years at Swift Transportation, rising from a customer service representative to President and CEO. His leadership revitalized Swift as a premier truckload carrier in North America.
Known for his strategic vision and ability to unite teams around ambitious goals, Stocking continues to drive growth and innovation at Hirschbach. Rooted in values shaped by his upbringing on a Utah farm, he is a dedicated family man with three sons, three daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren.

Andrew Hadland joined Hirschbach as Chief Financial Officer in October 2022, bringing extensive experience in logistics and transportation. Beginning his career in banking in London, he transitioned to logistics after earning his MBA, holding key roles at Exel Logistics and CRST, where he helped expand specialized transportation services.
With a strong background in financial strategy and operational growth, Hadland plays a vital role in guiding Hirschbach’s financial performance. His expertise in logistics and leadership continues to support the company's commitment to innovation and efficiency.

Jessica Hale joins Hirschbach as Senior Vice President – Human Resources, bringing extensive experience in human resources, culture transformation, and organizational development across transportation, manufacturing, technology, and global consumer brands. Throughout her career, she has held progressive leadership roles focused on aligning people strategy with business objectives and building high-performing, collaborative cultures.
With deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, and workforce planning, Jessica has served as a trusted advisor to CEOs and executive teams. Her work centers on elevating organizational capability through innovative HR practices, comprehensive people programs, and scalable systems that support sustained growth. Known for her blend of empathy, accountability, and strategic foresight, she cultivates environments where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Legal, Safety and Risk Management Leadership at Hirschbach
Brian Kohlwes serves as General Counsel & Chief Risk Officer at Hirschbach, a position he has held since 2015. With a childhood background rooted in trucking, Kohlwes' work ethic and passion for the trucking industry were shaped early on. His career path includes earning his undergraduate degree at Iowa State University followed by a law degree from Drake University Law School. His experience prior to Hirschbach as a civil trial lawyer coupled with his continued maintenance of his CDL gives him the expertise to oversee legal and risk management at Hirschbach.
Kohlwes’ expertise ensures the company navigates complex legal challenges and mitigates risks effectively. His unique blend of legal acumen and industry insight makes him an essential part of Hirschbach’s leadership team.
Championing Drivers and Transportation Excellence
With nearly three decades in the transportation industry, T.J. Pressley has held key leadership roles at Knight/Swift, including Terminal Leader, SVP of Driver Recruiting and Development, and co-President of Roads West Transportation. His expertise extends to consulting and executive leadership, having served as a Senior Consultant for DPX Consulting and as Chief Operating Officer of Sharp Transportation.
A dedicated advocate for truck drivers and their families, T.J. is committed to enhancing safety and success within the industry. His leadership and deep industry knowledge continue to drive positive changes in transportation.
Leading Technology Innovation at Hirschbach
Ivan Ramirez joined Hirschbach as Chief Technology Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in technology leadership across startups and public companies. He has held key roles at Overstock.com, where he helped drive significant growth, and later founded Commerce Interface, which was acquired by Groupon. Ramirez has also been involved with startups such as eMoov and Buy Box Experts and has led successful digital transformations at companies like Staples and Emaar.
As CTO at Hirschbach, Ramirez is focused on driving operational excellence through innovative, data-driven strategies. His vision for restructuring the technology organization and aligning it with business goals positions Hirschbach for continued growth and leadership in the industry.
Leading Maintenance Excellence at Hirschbach
Fred Staugh joined Hirschbach as Chief Maintenance Officer in May 2022, bringing over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry. He has held senior roles in maintenance management at companies such as Triple Crown Services, FFE Transportation, JB Hunt, and CRST Equipment Solutions. Staugh’s expertise is complemented by a four-year service in the United States Air Force.
In his role at Hirschbach, Staugh is responsible for maintaining the safety and reliability of the company's fleet, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance excellence. His leadership continues to be a key factor in the company’s commitment to operational success.
Data Science and Strategic Expertise in Transportation
Darren Wright is a data scientist and strategic consultant with 20 years of experience in the transportation sector. He spent 16 years at Swift Transportation, holding roles such as VP of Strategy and Senior Business Transformation Leader. With a master’s degree in accounting from BYU, a minor in Information Systems, and certifications in Management Accounting and Lean Six Sigma, Darren brings extensive expertise to his work.
His deep understanding of finance, data science, and process improvement has been instrumental in driving strategic success within the industry.
