Honoring Heroes: Air Force-Themed Truck Wrap Recognizes Hirschbach’s Ivan Elieff

This week, Hirschbach proudly unveiled our 2025 Military Truck Wrap, honoring the United States Air Force. Each year, we dedicate one of our brand-new trucks to a veteran from within the Hirschbach family, celebrating not only their military service but also the lasting impact they continue to make here at Hirschbach.

This year’s wrap pays tribute to the Air Force Thunderbirds, whose precision, skill, and unmatched aerial demonstrations have inspired generations for more than 60 years. The timing is especially meaningful, as the Air Force also marks its 78th birthday this week.
But more than honoring the branch, this year’s reveal centered on one of our own—Ivan Elieff.

Ivan served four years in the Air Force before choosing to put family first and raise his three sons. That same sense of duty has carried through his career and life. Since joining Hirschbach in 2019, Ivan has become a Best of the Best Diamond awardee, a trusted CDL trainer, and a driver who goes above and beyond—mentoring teammates, helping organize yards, representing Hirschbach in Wreaths Across America, and always stepping up when needed.

Military tradition runs in Ivan’s family, though many before him served in the Army. Ivan forged his own path by joining the Air Force, and he still values the spirit of exploration—seeing the country while building lasting relationships in the family-like atmosphere we have here at Hirschbach. Those who know him best will tell you: Ivan doesn’t just drive freight—he builds people. The discipline, patience, and respect he learned in service shine through in everything he does.

The new Air Force Thunderbird-themed truck is more than a wrap—it’s a moving tribute to Ivan’s service, character, and commitment to excellence.
A special thank you goes out to our partners Truck Country, Gigantic Design, and Big River Sign Company of Dubuque for their work in bringing this incredible design to life. And most of all, congratulations to Ivan Elieff, our 2025 honoree, for embodying what Hirschbach is all about: dedicated, dependable, and deeply committed.
