President and Chief Executive Officer
Brad Pinchuk, President & CEO, started his career with Hirschbach in 1999. He has worked in the refrigerated transportation industry for over 22 years. Brad and Tom Grojean, Jr., Chairman, purchased the company from Tom Grojean, Sr., Chairman, in 2012. Together they set the strategic goals of the organization. As a hands-on leader, Brad is intimately involved in working with the company’s sales, operations, safety, asset acquisition/performance, and Information management systems to achieve best in class results.
His proven leadership in these areas has produced consistent improvements throughout the organization. Over the last three years, the company has organically doubled in size while continuing to improve the quality of each transaction. Brad successfully negotiated the purchase of numerous acquisitions over the years, and led the effort to centralize Hirschbach’s corporate operations to the Dubuque, Iowa Marketplace, where he has built an excellent management team.
Before Hirschbach, Brad spent five years with Transtar (central Wisconsin), where he learned the industry from the ground up and excelled in various operational positions.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, where he graduated with honors and was a four-year starter on the varsity football team.
Prior to starting his trucking career, Brad served as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army. Much of his four-year stint was spent overseas where he successfully led groups of 30 to 150 soldiers and earned numerous awards, medals and promotions.
Outside of work, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years, Jillayne, and their three daughters (ages 13, 16, and 17). He also enjoys physical fitness, fishing, hunting, and watching various sporting events (usually involving a hometown Chicago based team).
